William & Kate: an ominous foreshadowing?

Street artist Rich Simmons created a mural showing the betrothed royals William and Kate as the Sex Pistol's Sid Vicious and his girlfriend.
The mural portrays Prince William as the punk icon himself and Middleton, wearing leather and smoking a cigarette, as his Nancy Spungen.
The love story of Sid and Nancy ended violently on October 12, 1978, when Spungen was found on the bathroom floor of their hotel room, dead from a single stab wound to the abdomen. The knife belonged to Vicious. It was a "007" hunting knife he had obtained after seeing Dee Dee Ramone give one to Stiv Bators.
Vicious was immediately arrested and charged with murder. Vicious pleaded not guilty and was released on bail. Four months after Nancy's death, prison and drug rehabilitation, he took a lethal amount of heroin, and died before the trial could take place. After Vicious died, the police closed the case. Nancy was buried in her hometown in Philadelphia.
A few days after Vicious' cremation, his mother found a suicide note in the pocket of his jacket:
We had a death pact, and I have to keep my half of the bargain. Please bury me next to my baby in my leather jacket, jeans and motorcycle boots. Goodbye.

Rich Simmons also created another royal wedding themed mural. This piece of art  shows a stencilled portrait of the queen spraying a heart. The aerosol paint looks like dripping blood and the two royal names are ominously joined by a cross.
